It's no joke!

I hope you have all had lots of fun in the white stuff over the weekend.

It looks like snow may become a permanent feature on our coaching calendar. Thanks to all the kids who turned up today (especially the 10 am group) and for the coaches who worked hard on the squash courts to offer a service to the players.

We have consulted with our friends at the MET office and we have decided to make the executive decision to cancel coaching from Monday 29th November to Friday 3rd December as we expect the snow to lie for most of the week. (N.B. Scotstoun 7 am classes will run as normal as will school coaching and coaching at Maryhill Sports Centre.)

Coaching WILL resume on Sunday 5th December but the blog will be updated on Friday 3rd/ Saturday 4th to confirm this.

The coaching was due to finish on Sunday 12th December but we will now run sessions from Monday 13th December to Friday 17th December to make up for the sessions missed this week. We had programmed some extra time in at the end of the block to make provision for these eventualities.

We are hoping this could provide a forum for communicating with you more regularly so please keep checking for further info.

P.S. There will be a prize for the person who can name the two coaches in the picture above. One is a ghost of Christmas past, and the other, a ghost of Christmas present. Closing date for entries is Wednesday 1st December. Entries via julieandmel@glasgowwestern.co.uk. All correct entries will be placed in a hat and the winner announced on this blog on Thursday 2nd. The prize is a surprise!
