We're all going on a summer holiday....

Last day of the present block

Friday 17th June marks the last day of the present block. Thank you to all the coaches and staff who have worked so hard throughout the term, to all the children for making such a great effort during the lessons and to the parents who bring them back and forth and help with the teams. We wish you a fantastic summer holiday.

(New blocks will commence late August/ early September - watch your emails and the blog for details).

Summer Camp

We run summer camps Monday to Friday from 27th June for 8 weeks until the 20th August. See May's blog entry for full details. Scroll down or look under May.

(N.B. Week commencing 27th June is full for the 8 + age group but there are a few spaces
left for under 8s. There is still full availability for the other weeks of the summer.)

Goodbye to Mel

We bid farewell to Melanie McKenzie who departs Thursday 23rd June for Australia. Melanie is moving over permanently and we thank her very much for her services to the club. She will be greatly missed by coaches and pupils alike. We wish her happiness and success down under.

She would be delighted to throw a shrimp on the barbie for any of you who care to visit and invites you to keep in touch with her via email: melanie_mckenzie@hotmail.co.uk.

Summer Challenges (also attached to this email to download)

Please find below a link to challenge events that are held throughout the West of Scotland during the summer. They are suitable for all those who have competed at red, orange, green and yellow. Please support these tournaments, especially those running at Western, Broomhill, Westerton and Thorn Park. These are our nearest clubs and we would like to see these events well supported by local kids.

---and related sponsorship opportunities

If any of you parents out there running your own businesses would like to get involved in sponsoring the West End Tournament, please get in touch with Julie at this email address.
