New blocks 2015

We hope you had a fantastic festive season and we look forward to welcoming you back to Western very soon.

It's a very exciting year for the club with work on the extension fully under way and an estimated opening for the new restaurant of April. We'll drop you regular emails at the beginning of the year to keep you posted of opportunities and news surrounding our expansion.

New block - early bird discount!!!

Classes begin from Sunday 25 January and all details of this 9 week block and how to pay plus early bird discount info can be found HERE

We prefer if you pay by BACS but Sue will be present at the start of each new group to collect cash and cheque payments in week one of the new block. Please try and pay on the first day back as it saves us a lot of time in the long run. 2014 prices apply to everyone who pays online or in person before Sunday 24 January.

There will be NO coaching from Sunday 8th February to Friday 13th February to incorporate the February camp and coaching will restart on Sunday 15th February to Friday 27th March.

February Camp

There will be a Feb camp from 9th to 13th February. All the usual fun and frolics. We usually do pizza on the Wednesday to incorporate those who have to return to school on the thursday! If you would like to guarantee a place, you can book HERE now!

Junior Winter Challenges

We are running green and red comps at the club and indoors at donald dewar in February and March.  

The indoor red events at the Donald Dewar centre in Drumchapel in conjunction with Drumchapel Tennis Club. This is a great opportunity to get some guaranteed indoor tennis and learn how to play matches.

Entries for these competitions is via the "competition" section of the blog. Please fill in a form for each competition.

Wimbledon Ballot Info 2015 - Big Change!

As per usual the number of Wimbledon tickets the club gets will be dependant upon how many of our members are affiliated to the LTA as Western members. This is free and please do so if you haven't already! Click below

The "big change" this year is that everyone affiliated will be contacted by the LTA to "opt in" which you must do in order to be affiliated for 2015. Full details in the link below.

Parent workshops 

We'd like to run workshops for parents to give you more information about the potential journey your child (and you!) can take at the club. The new restaurant will be up and running in April and we anticipate that there will be greater interest in all aspects of the club. We want to give you guys the first opportunity to grab memberships at the existing prices and tell you about other opportunities and explain about teams and pathways in general.  Workshops begin from February/ March and we will email, post on the blog, tweet and post on facebook.com/juliegtennis once we have the fine details!
