Western Tennis Summer News

Thank you

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you and all of the coaches for your support with the children this term. The coaches have worked really hard and so have lots of the parents not only in getting them there and back but also with practising and a special thank you to the parents who ran a junior team this term. You are invaluable to us as a club.

End of Term

This is the last week of the current term. If you haven't paid for this block, please email Adam at westerntenniscoachingclub.blogspot.com for details of how to pay. The last day of coaching is Sunday 22nd June and info re the new blocks in the autumn can be found here. We will update it over the summer so keep an eye.

Summer Camp

Summer camp bookings are filling up fast so to avoid disappointment, please book in advance. One of the busiest weeks so far is the last week!! During the last three weeks of the camp, we will have a drama option in the pm with Sophie and Megan Morrison coming along to run that. (Remember it is an option and all the usual activities will still be available). All details of camp plus how to book/wacky wed etc can be found here

Rally for Bally - Saturday 28th June

You will probably have heard of our fundraiser for charity taking place Sat 28th June. We are very excited about it and hope to raise a lot of money for Macmillan Cancer Trust and the Elena Baltacha Tennis Academy. There are still a few tickets left and we have set a cap of £60 per family. More details can be found at www.glasgowwestern.co.uk

Competition

During the summer we will update the competition section of the blog and all the other sections to keep you in the loop of what's happening. We also use facebook.com/juliegtennis and @juliegtennis on twitter to update you re events and one off opportunities etc if you want to follow them. This is an attempt NOT to email you all the time but we will email before significant times eg re-booking for the new blocks.

We hope you are enjoying the good weather and dont forget sun cream, hats and drinks for the kids.

Best wishes,

Julie and the Coaching Team
